Say what you will about Skrillex as an artist, but the dude absolutely PUMMELS his audience with a physical assault of sound. Maybe I was standing too close to the front but the bass drops felt like they were literally clotting my blood and rupturing my organs.
Eating a plate of collard greens and a slice of sweet potato pie while Big K.R.I.T. educates the audience on some Country Shit. Not too shabby.
The crowd, swooning in unison to the beat/flow of Porter’s hair, unanimously agrees.

SBTRKT straight KILLIN’ IT ft. Arcade writer Jamie Bertel literally crying tears of joy.
Purity Ring played a half hour set consisting of literally every song they have. It took a while to grow on me - really moody, atmospheric stuff kind of at odds with the rest of the music at the festival - but I walked away impressed and looking forward to the release of their full-length.
